A Baby Named Cheese.

I was listening to the radio when a report came on about babies named cheese.  And I thought that can not be true.  So I Googled it, and here is just one article that I found;

Time overviews this strange naming trend in an article titled, Oh Have You Met My Kids Panda Phone and Cheese the Weirdest Baby Names of 2013/

I'm still amazed.

What's An Obama Baby

I'm not sure if this is a joke, or not.

Newsweek.com has an article titled Change You Can Conceive In Could euphoric Obama fans be sparking a baby boom? The article goes on to say;
In the hours and days since Obama's victory, many of his exhilarated supporters have been, shall we say, in the mood for love. And though it's too soon to know for sure, experts aren't ruling out the possibility of an Obama baby boom—the kind of blip in the national birth rate that often follows a seismic event, whether it's scary (a terrorist attack) or celebratory (the end of World War II). "The mood of the country and the optimism about leadership is always somewhat related to birth rates," says Dr. Manny Alvarez, chief of reproductive science at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey. "I'm gearing up for a healthy increase."
Is it me or is it a little premature to be talking about this. But I guess we will be able to check nine months from now.

Reuters ask the question in an article titled An Obama baby boom? And gives the following definition;
The online Urban Dictionary has added the entry “Obama Baby” — “A child conceived after Obama was proclaimed President by way of celebratory sex, or any baby born under Barack Obama’s term(s).”

Should Clebs Pimp Their Babies Photos

I've been trying to avoid the whole celebrity baby photo thing, but after reading this article Celebrity Baby Photos and Net Worth: Does Less Income Make Pimping Your Baby More Moral?, it got me to thinking.

I guess it is a case of sometimes it is a good thing, and other times it is not. I wonder what effect it will have on the children.

What do you think, leave a comment.

Don't give your baby one of these names.

I'm not sure why people give their babies the names that they do. I am always fascinated by how we react to names, both good and bad. I do believe that you need a good name, one that fits you and one that you personally like. It adds to a persons sense of value, and helps create meaning in their lives to have a name that they like.

That is why this article makes me feel sad. I guess it is a sign of the maturity of the parents. At any rate let this article be a guide, if you don't already know better.

The worst, most humiliating baby names

What would compel a parent to bestow a newborn with a name like “Tiny Hooker” or “Fanny Large”? Or an amusing choice like “Wanna Towell"? It’s not just Hollywood’s elite opting for unique, embarrassing names—throughout history, normal people separated their offspring from the masses with truly terrible names.
